Treatment Protocols

Antogonist Protocol

In this protocol, ovary stimulating medication is started on the on the 2nd or 3rd day of the patient's ovulatory cycle. No ovulation suppressing drugs are used. 4-5 days after the start of the ovary stimulating medication, when the follicles are 13-14mm in diameter, drugs preventing the hatching of the follicles are used until the hCG injection is done.

Luteal Long Protocol

In this protocol, the patient starts to take contraceptive pills on the 3rd day of the ovulatory cycle. On the 16th day of the contraceptive pills, a single dose of the suppressant drug is administered. 6 days after the end of the contraceptives (3rd day of the patient's ovulatory cycle), ovary stimulating drugs are started and used until the hCG injection. This protocol is preffered with patients who have a good egg count.

Microdose Protocol

In this protocol, 3 days after finishing the contraceptive pills, diluted suppressant drugs are started (this is taken as the 1st day of the patient's ovulatory cycle). The ovary stimulating medication, on the other hand, starts 2 days after the start of the suppressant drugs (taken as the 3rd day of the ovulatory cycle). These regimen continues until the hCG injection. This protocol is used for patients with low egg counts.
